Color of Summer – Fujifilm Recipe with Classic Negative

Looking for the perfect color recipe to capture vibrant summer photos with your Fujifilm camera? You’re in the right place! Here’s a fantastic recipe tailored for Fujifilm cameras with the X-Trans IV sensor or newer, excluding the X-T3 and X-T30I.

These sample photos were taken with my Fujifilm X-Pro3 and TTArtisan 27mm f/2.8 AF lens, so results may vary slightly with different lenses, but overall, the differences will be minimal.

When applying the settings of this preset, keep in mind that several factors can influence the colors in your photos. The first factor is the weather—pay attention to temperature, sunlight, and atmospheric conditions, and adjust the Highlight and Shadow settings accordingly to match the actual lighting of each shot. The second factor is white balance, which also depends on weather and environmental temperature; you can adjust White Balance (K) settings to suit the conditions. Finally, the vibe of your photo—this preset, as seen in the sample images, is ideal for capturing sunny, bright, and vibrant summer scenes. While you can use it in different environments and for various subjects, you may need to tweak the settings to achieve the desired effect.

Classic Negative.

Classic Negative, a Fujifilm film simulation, mimics the iconic Superia film with muted tones, subtle contrast, and a vintage feel. Ideal for street photography, it adds a nostalgic, cinematic quality to everyday scenes.
